in all honesty who cares about production value. If i want to see eye candy ill watch the grand tour or top gear, as long as the content is feature rich and @tommyfyeah keeps the audience immersed with good banter, it will succeed.
Put it this way, film with a gopro and some other basic video gear and your competing with the adverage joe vlogger, start trying to up the production value by introducing higher end gear and you get compared to channels using similar gear, because of this it always makes one youtubers videos look amazing, and one looks shit, perfect example: smurfinwrx's video quality looks great, he is using a basic DSLR, haggard was using similar gear (Basic DSLR) and it looked shit in comparison. If Haggard was using go pros again this comparison wouldn't even be made (for me at-least) as i wouldn't be expecting the same level of quality.
Just using a gimble puts Tommy miles ahead from most of the competition. Keep it simple as you've got a grass roots style which everyone seems to enjoy.
