I think part of it is that some people have an unrealistic expectation of car builds every single day. They think life works like a tv show. You start a project and at the end of the episode, your out doing a test drive.
Personally I like the car stuff as well as the vlog type stuff. Like not to long ago, when you went to help Grit move his car. That was a funny fucking video. The car shit is cool, but the vlog shit shows your a real dude just like the rest of us.
Channels like TJ Hunt and AdamLZ both started out a little differently than what they are today. So as they have gone along, they've picked up people that enjoy the car stuff, some that enjoy the vlog stuff, and with LZ, the BMX stuff. So while the content may not be consistently the same, their subscriber count is large enough that they will still pull in the views. Their not immune to the comment trolls. I've gone through their comments before and believe me it's just as cancerous.
I love your videos, and especially what you've started with the Corner Balanced channel and forum.
I think it just comes down to one thing. You've got to keep moving forward. lol
