You gotta realize that most of the guys with those comments just like to troll. Social media has brewed people into having massive egos and in the facebook age always trying to get into arguments. Focus on the comments that are positive or advise from people that is actually constructive. Honestly the best vids from the channels were the ones down in Florida. Probably some of the most entertaining stuff I've watched. Honestly your channel has already grown really fast. Most of the other channels took quite a while to be built up large. I still don't understand how TJ Hunt has so many subs. Language in the vids could also be flagging videos and preventing people in restricted mode from seeing vids as well.
You may be able to look at stats of your videos to see what vids were the most successful and see what made up those vids and replcate styles if you want to grow in views and subs. Also look at some of the bigger channels and see what the most popular vids may be. Sometimes its the off the wall stuff that gets the most views or stuff other people on youtube aren't doing yet. Do something to get publicity, like a wild build and put your channel on the side, you show up to meets in something crazy people will be all over it and subscribe and share it.
I know you don't like the wild builds, but for me the most reconizable car on I think of on youtube is Tyler Fialkos cambergini. I'm sure just that build generated him a ton of content. Just having a basic video of seeing him drive around that thing is entertaining. Do some build never seen before, or something that will appeal to a wide range of people. Tylers all top videos are all on that car. Heck even TJ Hunt's most viewed video is that car, so sometimes the crazy stuff is what is most popular/entertaining. Or even easy DIY videos people can do on their own cars which may not be vechicle specific. Have some challanges $100/500/1000 mod challange. Do giveaways or contests and think about what can help promote the channel with the contest . Also maybe collabing with some bigger channels would help too.
